The Analog-Modeled Plugin Collection

Some of The Fabled Classics

You can’t go wrong with a faithful emulation of a classic analog piece of studio hardware. To stay true to their heritage, all vintage plugins are recreated down to component level with their characteristic non-linear behavior.

BA-6A
The 1950s

BA-6A follows the original simple, beautiful, and effective design of a 1950s limiting amplifier. Due to the nature of the original’s circuitry it is known for its high gain and fat yet gritty sound. The compressor gained its reputation being abused by Jimmy Page and is responsible for much of his huge-sounding guitars.

BAE 10DCF
The 1960s

Dynamic processors that offer such variety of control are often clean and colourless. In contrast the 10DCF offers that same versatility and control, but also character and colour. We have carefully modelled the subtle harmonic distortion of the Carnhill & Jensen transformers that give BAE its iconic sound.

VEQ-56
The 1960s

With VEQ-56, we have recreated every nuance of the authentic behaviour of the original American unit from the late 60’s. The graphic equalizer has got all the EQ bands for you to put the emphasis on the right frequency. It is known for many favourable aspects – among them is its high headroom, consistency and ease of use. But most critically, it’s the trademark American sound!

COMP-4K-STRIP
The 1970s

Тhe British 4K series large-format mixing consoles are iconic studio pieces that rightfully earned their place in recording history. An actual channel strip from a well-preserved desk was dismounted, analyzed and its digital recreation rigorously tested for it to rank among the most faithful 4K reproductions out there. Enjoy the classic punch, glue, drive and saturation of the iconic desk with no latency and zero CPU load.

Some of The Collector’s Items

How about a less frequently emulated analog unit has been retired for long time or was simply hard to find? Once we tracked their traces, the specific analog circuitry was translated to a software emulation that you can now apply to your projects and add a unique element to your production.

Blonder-Tongue Audio Baton Plugin GUI

Blonder-Tongue Audio Baton
The 1950s

The Blonder-Tongue Laboratories Audio Baton is an all-tube graphic equalizer so rare and special, it has an actual album named after it. Covering it in February 1959, AUDIO magazine qualified it as “strongly recommended to anyone who does much recording.” Our faithful emulation preservers the audio character of the original that compares favorably to other great equalizers of the era.

Filtek MK3 EQ Plugin GUI

FILTEK MK3
The 1970s

Originally designed in the 70’s, the FILTEK MK3 is a highly successful creation. That’s no wonder as the unit was built to the rigorous standards demanded by the IRT (Institut für Rundfunk Technik). A versatile equalizer which sounds clear and precise, the MK3 handles broad sweeps and surgical applications with equal aplomb. The combinations of controls and switches allow for plenty of experimentation.

Gyratec X

The vari-mu tube compressor from Gyraf Audio comes alive for Antelope Audio interfaces in the form of a software emulation. Thanks to its smooth high-pass filtering, it allows hard compression of the low end without dirtying up the sound. The compressor is widely recognized for its speed, featuring technology used in early limiters like the coveted Fairchild 670.

MARBLE WHITE AUTOWAH

Marble White replicates a boutique autowah pedal from Finland whose circuit is originally based upon a vintage rackmount wah and further refined to sound like a real wah pedal. The Marble White is simply in a league of its own with its fast tracking, uncanny accuracy and responsive controls. It works equally well on guitar and bass.
