Antelope Audio’s discrete preamps topology is a descendant of the great console preamps of the time. Designed using a combination of transistors, the Discrete preamps result in maximum noise reduction and, most importantly, precise sound capture for transparent recordings.

Under the hood
Extensive Connectivity Controlled by a Virtual Patch Bay
The Discrete 8 Pro is a 26×32 interface with eight console-grade preamps, eight line-level inputs for outboard gear, reamp outputs, ADAT, and S/PDIF I/O. All this connectivity is controlled by an easy-to-use, flexible virtual patch bay that allows for creative routing.
Monitoring is handled by a dedicated stereo monitor output and two stereo headphone outputs. These can be loaded with effects for real-time monitoring with added processing.

More than just a preamp
High tech body with a classic soul
The Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core employs the latest generation AD/DA converters that go up to 130 dB of headroom, but this is just the start. With its discrete six-transistor design (based on circuits found in classic recording consoles), Class A preamps provide a crystal-clear picture. It falls into place with the 64-bit AFC clocking technology that makes the soundstage feel wider and more spacious.
Routing & Effects on Every Channel
Integrated Synergy Core platform removes all noticeable latency and lets you track up to 90 effect instances. You can easily process up to 16 channels with vintage classics (which adds incredible analog warmth and coloration). 37 included real-time effects. That’s not enough?
